Purity - Baby Rhino by Adishree Singh and Akshat Dhawan

The unicorn, once a symbol of purity and freedom, now reflects humanity’s destructive urge to possess the rare and unattainable—turning beauty into commodity, wonder into trophies, and harmony into ruin. Inspired by the Great Indian One-Horned Rhinoceros, once reduced to just 12 individuals in 1908 and now rebounding to 2,613, this work honors the tireless efforts of forest guards, anti-poaching units, and indigenous communities of Kaziranga. It stands as a testament to collective action, reminding us that restoration is possible. By working together, we can heal our planet, protect its ecology, and reclaim the balance we have long disrupted.
