Accompanying this sonic journey, Kathak artists weave graceful, measured movements: deliberate footwork that echoes the heartbeat of calm, expansive chakkars that mirror the turning of inner awareness, and subtle abhinaya that silently narrates stories of surrender, devotion, and transcendence.

Here, rhythm becomes a pathway to shanti (peace), melody a mirror for clarity, and expression a quiet portal to enlightenment. The performance avoids spectacle, embracing restraint and depth—allowing each note, each gesture, and each breath-held silence to dissolve distractions and reveal the luminous stillness within.

Join us for this gentle confluence of sound and movement, where art serves not as entertainment, but as a sacred invitation to rest in presence and awaken to the eternal.

Please note seating will be on the floor.

About the facilitator:

Pranav Kelkar is an Indian classical vocalist who received training at the Jaipur Atrauli Gharana and is a staunch practitioner of the emotional aspect of Indian classical music.
