When manmade burden is lifted, what remains? An existence that is light. This existence is not void of sorrow or introspection; it simply acknowledges the weight of life is only as heavy as we make it.
Rema Chaudhary’s Lightness of Being is a collection of ethereal landscapes, some void of all humanity and others with the presence of a figure drifting through the vastness with a deep sense of freedom. This movement depicts an unencumbered life—almost whimsical and other-worldly—and an acceptance of what it means to be.

The Artist : 

Rema Chaudhary is a Mumbai based photographer. She studied photography in Massachusetts before returning to India to start her career. She has shot for clients such as Gucci, Nike, Adidas, Forbes Japan, Verve, L’Officiel and many others.
She is inspired by nature and how we fit into the grand scheme of things. Her work is intimate, quiet, and filled with fantastical prospects of the internal and external environment.
