G Rahul
G Rahul draws inspiration from the things around him—daily scenes, passing conversations, and the subtle movements of life. When looking at his own work, he often notices the presence of travelers—figures caught mid-journey, in between places. They reflect something he recognises within himself. Similarly, his thoughts tend to move in all directions, flowing across the four corners of his mind without settling.
This sense of movement—both external and internal—is central to his practice. He is interested in how everything seems to be in transit, without a clear beginning or end. His work is a space where this in-betweenness is held, where meanings form and dissolve in a constant loop.
Through layered textures and repeated motifs, he tries to capture the rhythm of motion—the feeling of always going somewhere, even if we don’t know where. It’s in this ongoing journey that he finds the most meaning.
