Harun Al Rashid Mollah (b.1997) is from Howrah, West Bengal, India. He completed his bachelors from the Indian College of Arts and Draftsmanship in Fine Arts (BFA) in 2021 and Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in painting from the S.N School of Arts and Communication (2023), University of Hyderabad.

Harun's practices are mostly connected with his roots in the present and recall all the relevant things related to his cultural origin. He has been influenced largely by his family since the very beginning, and thus the notion of his practice is a reaction to those occurring in his familial space. The spontaneity has emerged from the very sensitive events of his surroundings, gathering influence from the tiniest events of his life that have affected him deeply. He wishes to convey a broader sense of life's philosophies into it. The practice here depicts his unending quest to find his roots and understand them from every perspective. This has been an attempt at blending his perception of the world and of life itself through occurrences and beliefs.
