LAIBA TANVEER

Laiba Tanveer’s practice is an exploration of the intangible—the echoes of dreams, subconscious memories, and fleeting moments that leave a lasting imprint. She is drawn to the emotions that linger in silence: the warmth of a fading connection, the ache of longing, the quiet intensity of a moment in motion. Through her work, she seeks to bridge the gap between what is seen and what is felt.
Graduating with distinction in Fine Arts from the University of Karachi in 2025, Laiba is an emerging artist whose work has been featured in prominent group exhibitions across Pakistan, including Daastangoi, VM Art Gallery, and Sambara Art Gallery. Her paintings capture the essence of transient moments through vivid colors and expressive forms, offering intimate glimpses into the emotions and narratives often overlooked in everyday life.
Rooted in memory, the mundane, and the subconscious, Laiba’s work transforms the ephemeral into something tangible, inviting viewers to pause, reflect, and connect with the quiet yet profound beauty found in the in-between spaces of existence.
