Satyam Acharya

Satyam Acharya is an artist born in Goa, currently based in Vadodara. He completed his Bachelor of Fine Art from Goa College of Art, Panaji, in 2021 and recently earned his Master’s in Visual Arts, specializing in Graphic Arts, from The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda in 2024. His practice spans drawing, painting, and printmaking, with a distinctive approach rooted in humor, fluid linework, and introspective observation. Satyam’s works often reflect on personal experiences and explore the humanoid presence within everyday spaces, shaping meaning from these encounters. The visual language he employs—marked by energetic compositions and layered imagery—mimics the anxiety, desire, and inner tendencies of contemporary life, narrating situations that feel both specific and universally felt.

Satyam’s work has been recognized and exhibited across various platforms. He was awarded the Winner Graduate title by CurrentMood magazine and Art Fervor for 2024–25 and received the First Take award from Abir Art India in November 2024. In 2025, he exhibited at the Yerevan Print Biennale in Armenia. He was also a monsoon resident for printmaking at the Banyan Hearts Open Studio in Hyderabad (2024). His work was shown in the group exhibition Without Cube, curated by the Hidden Artists Initiative at the Faculty of Fine Arts, Baroda, and was featured in the 2024–25 edition of the CIMA Art Show. Through his multi-disciplinary approach, Satyam continues to explore the intersections of form, emotion, and the absurdities of the human condition.
