Sumesh Bareek

Sumesh Bareek is a printmaker from Odisha, currently based in Delhi. He holds both a Bachelor’s (2018–2022) and Master’s degree (2022–2024) in Fine Art with a specialization in Printmaking from the College of Art, Delhi University. Sumesh’s practice is rooted in a deep engagement with the natural environment, with a particular focus on landscapes and ecological themes. Working primarily in woodcut, his art captures the beauty, grandeur, and quiet fascination of nature, inviting the viewer to reconnect with the world we often take for granted.
