Tahsin Akhtar

Tahsin Akhtar (b. 1988) from Jharkhand, India and currently practices in Delhi. He works across various media, including projection mapping, video, painting, photography, kinetic sculpture, animation, and performance. 

In his practice, Tahsin explores the unspoken tensions of daily life through a combination of video sculptures and interactive installations.

His work examines how individuals are subtly conditioned to perform specific actions, becoming trapped in a system of constant observation and control. Through such provocations, his works invite viewers to investigate the hidden forces that shape how we perceive and navigate the world around us.
