Meet the Founder

Ms. Kriti Jain is the Founder, Creative Director, and CEO of The Paper Baron, a premium stationery brand born from her lifelong passion for writing, sketching, and collecting stationery. The idea took shape as a business between 2017 and 2018, evolving into a brand that celebrates the tactile and emotional experience of putting pen to paper.

Based in Kochi, Kerala, The Paper Baron operates as a business unit of Paper Combines, a company founded by her father in 1983. For over 40 years, Paper Combines has been a leading distributor of packaging and printing paper sourced from certified Indian mills as well as international suppliers from the UK, USA, Africa, Europe, and Asia. As a second-generation entrepreneur and partner in the family business, Kriti brings a decade of expertise in packaging, printing solutions, and paper consultancy.

Despite the rapid shift towards digital mediums, Kriti remains a staunch advocate for the enduring relevance of paper. She believes that with awareness and the right information, younger generations will rediscover the joy of writing and sketching by hand. Through The Paper Baron, she aspires to revive the power of paper in everyday life.
