URBAN & STREET ART
Can street art exist in a gallery or a home? The answer is yes, and it does. Street art is not only an art form but an art culture. The practice is always associated with a sense of rebellion, as the artist never asks permission before leaving a mark or a message for all to see.
Though this art form is rooted in the public space of an urban landscape, street art has found its way into galleries and private collections. By crossing this boundary, the rebellious spirit of street art can be appreciated in a new light. However, a bona fide street artist cannot only exist in the confines of a gallery.
At Method, all artists categorized as “street art” have dared to spontaneously breathe life into the urban landscape, making their art accessible to all.
