Vipin Singh Rajput

Vipin Singh Rajput (b. 1989, Chhattisgarh, India) is a contemporary artist who lives and works in India. He creates mixed media artworks, paintings, drawings, and performances. By contesting the division between the realm of memory and the realm of experience, Singh Rajput approaches a wide scale of subjects in a multi-layered way. He likes to involve the viewer in a way that is sometimes physical and believes in the idea of function following form in a work.

He holds an M.F.A. in Painting (2013) and a B.F.A. in Painting (2011), both from Indira Kala Sangit Vishwavidyalaya, Khairagarh, Chhattisgarh.
