Proya is the musical alias of Priya Panchwadkar. Her forthcoming EP, Subliminal, dwells in a territory where repetition ceases to be mere compositional device and becomes a way of inhabiting time itself. Drawn towards it to the point of fixation, Proya uses the EP as an immersion device that resists the demand for novelty and asks the audience what becomes audible when we stop chasing and choose to remain with what’s in front of us.
EchoFloat is a project conceived by Jeff Nelson that moves between soundscapes, granular synthesis and bass music as a structural language - a framework that negotiates the relationship between organic and synthetic. Foregoing spectacle and impact, Echofloat chooses to articulate space, form and movement, tracing the ways bodies, machines and environments remain forever entangled… until they all finally unfold through sound.
