Kids Workshop with the Artist | 10th Nov | Kids & Parents Workshop | Method KG
Take your children on a journey rich through Bengali culture with our exhibiting artist Debosmita.
In this workshop, kids will have a walkthrough of our ongoing show, Bariwali & learn how to apply the logic of narration to art creation all while being introduced to the emotional landscapes of her exhibition Bariwali.
After the walkthrough, the kids will make their own art in a hands-on project.
The term "Bari" refers to the concept of home, with the series exploring how women connect to the land and the domestic space they inhabit. The paintings portray everyday scenes such as domestic chores, social gatherings, and intimate moments between newlyweds, while also addressing the ongoing flow of ancestry and tradition.
