KUBO Kinetic Sculpture Workshop | Sun 2nd Aug | HOLIDAY HW '26

Artist and designer Simran Singh invites children into the fascinating world of kinetic sculpture—art that moves, balances, and changes through gravity rather than remaining fixed in a single form.

Inspired by the sculptural installation KUBO, participants will build their own hanging mobile using colourful modular pieces, discovering how balance, movement, and composition come together to create living sculptures. Along the way, they'll explore concepts such as equilibrium and centre of gravity through play, experimentation, and hands-on making.

Each child will leave with a one-of-a-kind kinetic sculpture to take home—a functional artwork where movement is authored by its maker, reminding us that art is never static, but always dynamic and evolving.
