From the Soft Invasions series, this work embodies an ethics of hope for a solarpunk and stitchpunk future. A hybrid of octopus, jellyfish, and plush anatomies, the creature proposes adaptability and interdependence as survival strategies. Constructed through repetitive crochet labour, softness operates as an active force that quietly transforms hostile environments. The work imagines a future where repair, care, and collective coexistence replace extraction and domination.
