Small Group Switch Up
Things are always evolving, always changing. If you're familiar with Small Group Switch Up, here's what's new:
- You will now sign up for a specific date and time. There are seven slots available on each date and time. Participation is first come, first serve.
- You no longer have to fill a google form.
- If there are seven slots, from past experience that means between 3-6 people will actually show up. Method has no control over this. :)
- If you sign up for a date and time, come at that date and time.
- On the day of, Method may or may not send you a reminder to come - so add it to your Google calendar for a reminder :)
Now... if you aren't familiar with Small Group Switch Up, here are the deets:
Random people decide to come together for a bit of socialising. The one thing you have in common is that you are open to meeting new people. This is not a singles event; this is an everybody event.
Usually, the meetup lasts an hour or so, depending on how people click. That's up to you. You can stay as long as you want (or til Method closes; whichever comes first!) and leave as soon as you want.
This is an experiment.
Everyone who participates is expected to be a decent human being to others in the group. Everyone who participates is expected to each other accountable and speak up if anyone in the group is not being a decent human being. So far, we have not had any issues (that Method has been made aware of), but since people are a variable, it's important to state: by signing up, you are committing to upholding kindness.
Okay, have fun :)
