About The Performance
The Space Inside You is a live sound and music experience created by pause.dxa, combining Dhrupad vocals, electronic soundscapes and live instruments, to build an immersive and layered sonic atmosphere.The session moves around five elements Earth, Water, Fire, Space, and Air with each part offering a distinct sound environment shaped through voice, acoustic textures, and field recordings. The sound unfolds as a continuous journey, designed to be experienced through the body as much as through the ears. Audience members are invited to lie down comfortably on mats or cushions, settling into a relaxed position. The sound moves through the space and around the listeners, creating an atmosphere that encourages stillness, openness, and deep listening. A space to drift inward, to feel sound move through you, and to quietly meet the space inside.
About the artists
pause.dxa is an experimental sound and music experience duo by Sahitya and Harsh. Starting as a sound immersion project in January 2022, pause.dxa has evolved into an exploration of how we experience sound and music, pushing the boundaries of traditional and electronic elements. We do Sound Immersions, create Ambient Music, Sound Design and Sound Installations, inspired by the practice of Indian Classical Music, particularly Dhrupad in the Dagarvani tradition, with Electronic Soundscapes. The project has worked across diverse formats, including live sound design for dance and theatre performances and multimedia projects, film, ambient music compositions, Cymatics Sound installations for music festivals and immersive experiences combining traditional vocals with experimental sound.
