Limited edition umbrella by Aniruddh Mehta (thebigfatminimalist) for The UmbrellArt Project 2024. 

The UmbrellArt Project is a public arts initiative by Method to add a little colour to the streets of Mumbai, while keeping functional utility in mind. 6 artists have contributed original designs for consumer umbrellas.

For each umbrella you collect, one large garden sized umbrella is provided to an outdoor street vendor to give some shelter from the sun and rains.

ALL ORDERS SHIP POST 15TH JUNE.

Edition of 100 in total. 20 available in this first run, updates will be shared when a second run is announced.

Material : Digital print on pongee canopy stitched on a fiber frame with rubber coated handle with grooves for a sturdy and ergonomic grip.

Aniruddh Mehta

Aniruddh Mehta (a.k.a thebigfatminimalist) is an independent Visual Artist, Graphic Designer and Art Director based out of Mumbai, India. He runs and manages Studio Bigfat, under which he takes up commercial projects and also works closely with the independent music scene in Mumbai. He has worked on projects for brands such as Puma, Redbull, Adidas and recently known for being the design-lead for the title sequence of Sacred Games on Netflix.
