Dinesh Nivalkar

Dinesh Nivalkar was born in the coastal city of Ratnagiri, Maharashtra. He is a multidisciplinary contemporary artist and designer based in Mumbai. A gold medalist from the renowned Sir J.J. Institute of Applied Arts and Mumbai University, he has been practicing his art for over 15 years. His work is inspired by a diverse array of resources and experiences in nature, delving into deep meanings and the inherent beauty of natural elements. His art explores themes of nature, spirituality, and innovation.

As a Design Director, he has collaborated with leading national and international brands, including Tata Motors, Godrej, Mahindra, Unilever, Nippo Batteries, Nilkamal Furniture, Cargill, Kalpataru, Indiabulls, Cadbury, HSBC Bank, and Bank of Baroda.

He recently showcased his artwork at the Jehangir Art Gallery, marking his fifth solo exhibition and his second at this prestigious venue. His works are now part of collections in India and internationally.
