SS15 by Dinesh Nivalkar
Sthula and Sukshma (SS) represent a unique concept found in every element of nature. For instance, when we observe a flower, its color and shape are the Sthula aspects, while the plant cells and fragrances constitute the Sukshma elements. Similarly, the jackfruit: the rough, dotted green exterior represents Sthula, while the juicy pulp embodies the experience of delicacy. The dots, textures, and colors harmony are essential components of this painting series. These concepts highlight the duality of existence, emphasizing the interplay between the material world and our experiences.
