Lata Joshi is a self-taught artist who rekindled her passion for painting in a journey of self-discovery.

As an artist with an academic background rather than formal art education, her work is deeply rooted in the interplay between intellectual inquiry and the intuitive process of creation.

Growing up within a framework that valued structured thinking, she was often drawn to understanding the world through logical lenses. However, over time, she realized that the most profound insights often lie beyond these boundaries—found in the quiet spaces between ideas, in the way light shifts, or how color evokes a feeling that words can’t quite capture. Thus her paintings are a reflection of both her personal journey and her broader exploration of the world.

In the past few months, she has immersed herself in painting emotions and identity beyond structured theories. This exhibition marks the beginning of her artistic evolution, a testament to reclaiming creativity and embracing the unknown.
