Siddharth Soni

Siddharth Soni has completed his Bachelors of Fine Arts and Masters of Fine Arts from kala bhavan, Visva Bharti university with a specialization in painting. Now he lives and works in Udaipur, Rajasthan which is also his hometown.

His father and uncle both are miniature artists from Udaipur and Siddharth is a second-generation artist, working as a multidisciplinary practitioner in the field. Siddharth Soni is a young talented artist and has participated in 35 group exhibitions workshops, fellowship and residencies.

His work encompasses photography, installations, site-specific public art projects, paintings, and new media. His works are reflection of contemporary socio-political landscapes. Themes of equality, diversity, and the manipulation of political propaganda come into play and all of this is viewed through the lens of local religious faiths and belief systems of society.
