A Drawing Session with Kashin | 19th Nov | Workshop | Method Bandra
Join us for an intimate session to explore how drawing can serve as a tool for cultivating attentiveness and awareness of fleeting thoughts.
Throughout this workshop, you'll engage in various drawing exercises, experimenting with mark-making and prompt-based drawing. No artistic background is required — simply come and have some fun!
Please note: The aim is not necessarily to leave with a finished product ready for display. This workshop emphasises the drawing process over the end result. Given the workshop's nature, seats are limited, so sign up soon!
Date: Sunday, 19th November 2023
Time: 11 am - 12:30 pm
Where: Method Bandra
The workshop price includes materials & one coffee-based drink or a lemonade.
Kashin's solo exhibition "Fresh Lime Soda" is currently on view at Method Bandra.
Kashin Patel (b. 1997) graduated with an MA in Painting from the Royal College of Art, London (2022) and previously attained her BFA in painting at Sir J. J. School of Art, Mumbai (2020).
Kashin’s work highlights the self and what it means for it to exist in society. Themes of relationships, isolation, and anxiety are all depicted through a narrative of experiences, with the frequent use of humour that allows her to express gravity without weight.
With her current exploration of headspace, she traces the origins of ideas while focusing on the feelings experienced in the process of their realisation.
She currently lives in and practices out of her studio in Mumbai, India.
