Her hustle by Vaishnavi Kurhe
The idea of the "ideal woman" places constant pressure on working women to excel in their careers while fulfilling traditional domestic roles. This dual expectation is often glorified during festivals like Navratri and in empowerment campaigns, where women are portrayed as "Superwomen" balancing everything effortlessly. However, behind this glorification lies a silent struggle to meet unattainable standards.
My work challenges this romanticized image, shedding light on the emotional burden women carry. It invites viewers to recognize the gap between societal expectations and personal well-being, urging a more compassionate and realistic understanding of women's experiences today
