Home V' reflects on the ecological tensions unfolding in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. The red, branching form of a mangrove, once a symbol of protection and life, now lie scorched and fragmented. Visions of fishing nets and homes dissolve into the earth-toned, raw tones and expressive textures. As vital mangrove forests are cleared and destroyed, leaving local dependent communities vulnerable, the coastal defenses of the Islands weaken. The piece stands as a tribute to lost lives, vanishing natural defenses, and the irreversible consequences of human exploitation. It warns that when nature is wounded, it will respond, sometimes, in devastating ways.

This artwork was exhibited at Method Delhi in the group exhibition "Formation & Fracture" a group exhibition featuring alumni from IMMERSE by  Somaiya Vidyavihar University (July 2025).
