Interlaced Narratives: Telling Stories from the Margins
 
This piece is close to my heart because the central figure is my inspiration—my mother. She shares the space with me in this work, where threads represent my lines. My mother, who tirelessly raised me, has always been a collaborator. Her contribution to my life is immeasurable. Alongside her, the other women I’ve embroidered are the community women I work with—my extended family, my “other mothers.”
