Salsa Dance Class with Ira | 16th Dec | Workshop | Method Juhu
Salsa is a Latin dance, associated with the music genre of the same name, which was first popularized in the United States in the 1960s in New York City. Salsa is a mixture of Cuban dances, such as mambo, pachanga, and rumba, as well as American dances such as swing and tap.
Please note: You can come with a dance partner or by yourself. There will be segments of the class where we dance alone and segments where we are partnered up. Those who come alone will partner up with another member of the class.
No prior dance experience necessary. This is a no judgment zone where everyone is encouraged to join. Dance is not only fun but also a great form of exercise.

Ira is a French-Belarusian citizen currently working as a French teacher at Oberoi International School. Ira has been dancing since her childhood, with a background in numerous dance forms. Currently, she is a practicing Bachata, Salsa, Garba, and Kathak dancer.
