Trap I by Akash Biswas
An original artwork by Akash Biswas.
The focal point of 'Trap I' — a multi-layered, flower-like coral form — appears dry, brittle, and fossilized, evoking a sense of decay and memory. The textures surrounding it mimics underwater erosion and sedimentation, as if we are looking at a coral fossil trapped beneath layers of time and trauma.
This artwork was exhibited at Method Delhi in the group exhibition "Formation & Fracture" a group exhibition featuring alumni from IMMERSE by Somaiya Vidyavihar University (July 2025).
