Weight of Memories by Keerti Pooja
"The belongings people carry are more than mere objects; they become repositories of memories, emotions, and experiences. They reflect a person's journey—physical, emotional, and psychological. These belongings, with their wear and tear, their chosen form and function, are deeply personal symbols of identity. They speak silently of the life lived, the places travelled, and the trials endured. And yet, amidst this chaos, it is the conviction that shines through. Conviction is the force that holds people together, enabling them to navigate. It is the trust in their choices, the determination to persevere, and the belief in their stories, values, and dreams.
When we observe people—their body language, their actions, and their physical being becomes a silent narrative. Their stories are etched into their belongings, their movements, and the way they carry themselves. This language of existence, unique to each individual, transcends words and evokes a deeper connection.
Every object serves as a silent storyteller, holding memories, emotions, and experiences that connects the past. These items, whether small or grand, mundane or unique, becomes an extension, shaped by the moments lived through. The more the object the more the stories."
