ABSOLUTE BY ANSH KUMAR

Ansh Kumar’s exhibition, "Absolute", made up of serigraphs on paper and glass, tackles some heavy human truths but does it with a playfulness that makes your mind dance. The works flirt with abstraction and human forms in a way that messes with your sense of identity. These shapes—sometimes colliding, sometimes pulling apart—aren’t just optical illusions; they’re metaphors for how we exist in relation to each other. In true Gestalt fashion, each piece feels like it’s constantly shifting, as though you're watching the threads of society knit together and unravel all at once. The line between where "you" end and "the other" begins is always in flux.

What’s so riveting about "Absolute" is its suggestion that our identities are as fluid as the shapes we encounter. Every interaction leaves a mark, altering the whole, like a ripple in a pond. Ansh Kumar’s work here is cerebral yet so alive with movement—it’s got this tactile, almost vibrational quality that insists you consider how the human form isn’t just flesh and bone, but connection and disconnection. These works are doing more than bending lines—they’re bending the way we see ourselves, both as individuals and as part of this ever-evolving mosaic we call society.
