About The Artist

Neekita Singh is a visual artist based out of a basement in India, focused on creating unsettling, sometimes panic-inducing imagery. According to strangers on the Internet and her family, her work attempts to make already dreadful topics worse with headache-affirming colour palettes and nightmarish confrontation.
Her style captures an embarrassing sense of paranoia while being deeply satire-coded, followed by unwelcoming realisations about her being. Narrated by a twisted alter ego, her compositions could also double up as stills of a low-budget Psych Thriller with a nichè audience. The anecdotes in her work are usually based on true incidents, except the parts that are completely exaggerated for her amusement.
