Payoja Agarwal
Payoja Agarwal is a multidisciplinary artist based in Kotabagh, Uttarakhand, India. Specialising in pottery and painting, her work is an exploration of the interaction between humans and nature. In her pottery, she embraces spontaneity, allowing the clay to guide her while maintaining a balance between form and function. Her abstract paintings, created with oil pastels, focus on intuitive colour compositions that evoke emotion and contemplation. Payoja’s artistic practice is deeply influenced by the natural environment she lives in. Balancing a slow, intentional lifestyle, she integrated elements of nature, rest and creativity into her daily routine, continuously seeking harmony between her art and her surroundings.
