Smoke and Wine Inside the Life Boat' evokes the paradoxical journey of life, where the inevitability of death underscores the preciousness of each moment. Smoke and wine within a lifeboat serve as metaphors for fleeting pleasure and the ephemeral nature of existence, set against the backdrop of a voyage towards the unknown. The artist's personal experiences, influenced by both the urban environment and the solemn presence of a graveyard near his studio, infuse the work with a tension between reality and fantasy.
