"yeah, sure. whatever." by Deeksha Poddar
Fatigued by her journey of resisting and confronting louder voices, the woman portrayed takes a pause, a few long breaths and the decision to let things go, which in turn brings her peace, much like the tranquil aftermath of a shower. Her softened demeanor suggests a gradual but reluctant acceptance.

Deeksha Poddar
Formally trained as a textile designer, Deeksha is a self-taught ceramicist. She uses hand-building techniques to create forms in ways that render them always less than perfect, slightly distorted. She draws inspiration from the nature of memories. She often utilizes objects, textures, and hues to focus on life events and expression. Reminiscent of a faded photograph, her style is often a warped composite of fleeting moments and reminder of it having happened.
