'Hypepriest' is a satirical reimagining of the iconic 'Priest-King' bust from the Indus Valley Civilization adorned in luxury fashion signifiers; the Supreme box logo and the Louis Vuitton monogram pattern.

The merging of the 4000-year-old artifact with contemporary fashion branding critiques the parallels between social hierarchy and consumerist cults.

In present culture saturated with brand-signaling, where ownership of high-value and rare clothing and accessories act as social currency and cultural influence, this work comments on how we view access and status.

'Hypepriest' is a totemic symbol of our obsession with image, branding and myth-making in a hyper-consumerist world.
