Infinite Gaze by Varnita Sethi
This painting is a striking blend of surrealism and symbolism, featuring a figure that seems to merge elements of classical art with fantastical and mythological motifs. The central figure, reminiscent of the Mona Lisa, has been reimagined with a blue-toned face covered in numerous eyes, perhaps symbolizing omniscience or a heightened sense of awareness. The horns extending from the figure's head add a mystical quality. The background, with its abstract, geometric shapes resembling mountains and pyramids, further enhances the dreamlike atmosphere, grounding the figure in a landscape that feels both familiar and alien. This artwork challenges viewers to explore themes of identity, vision, and the blending of the divine with the fantastical.
