.'Mother and Child' revolves around the drama of the death of a boy and his family, based on an incident that occurred around me. this painting,depicts the death of a boy whose father was an alcoholic, and whose mother left the family solely because of him and I focus primarily on staging the elements within the space according to the theme of my series.

M. Imran Ahamedis a Chennai-based artist and visual narrator, deeply influenced by his rural upbringing and middle-class roots. He completed his Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Government College of Fine Arts, Chennai in 2023 and is currently pursuing his Master of Fine Arts at the same institution.

Imran’s work delves into the complexities of the human psyche, drawing inspiration from his personal experiences, everyday life, and the textures of memory.His artistic style is marked by a keen sensitivity to texture and a distinctive color palette intuitively selected depending on the narration of the painting or what the subject of the painting demands.

Passionate about both realism and experimental approaches, Imran’s practice is a fusion of personal vision and contemporary relevance. He is currently working on his series, "Paradox," a body of work that explores psychological narratives through dramatic compositions, allowing the inner workings of his subjects' minds to take center stage.
