Mother and Child by M. Imran Ahamed

“Mother and Child” centers on the emotional aftermath of a boy’s death and its impact on his family, inspired by a real incident that occurred around the artist. The painting portrays a boy whose father was an alcoholic and whose mother abandoned the family because of him. The artist’s focus lies in carefully composing the elements within the space to align with the overarching theme of his series.
