The Palette Green 2 (Complimentary Greys) by M. Imran Ahamed
The white flower you see in the subject of the painting ,I brought it with me
for my upcoming body of work. I decided to form a connection with it, so I
took it everywhere I went for two days.It was a truly unique experience. As
the flower began to wilt, I created this piece. I made it as a way to explore
green. In this work, I intentionally played with both large and short
brushstrokes, and with complementary greys. The process was incredibly
relaxing I really enjoyed it.
This artwork was exhibited at Method Kala Ghoda in the group exhibition "In the Small, Infinite" (June 2025).
