In tradition with our overall programming, our Art Mumbai presentation will feature an eclectic mix of mediums, styles and themes. Ranging from the post-urban works by respected international artists J. Demsky, Jan Kalab, Kumkum Fernando & Kunel Gaur , to the politically driven works by Mohd. Intiyaz, classic miniature inspired feminism by Gargi Chandola, a revival of the nihilistic Adarsh Balak series by Priyesh T, and works by some extremely fresh emerging talent - Darshika Singh, Revant Dasgupta and Avinda Tishan, the Method booth creates a space to discover the non-mainstream side of the art world.

Debosmita Samanta’s exhibition Bariwali draws deeply from her personal connection to "Bari"—the land-home, a space rich with memories and meaning. Inspired primarily by the women in her family, Debosmita's paintings tell stories that are both deeply personal and universally resonant. Through her work, she explores the experiences of women who perceive, own, and inhabit this home, reflecting on the profound bond between women and the spaces they call their own. Bariwali serves as a tribute to these lives, capturing the essence of the home as both a physical and emotional landscape.

Portrait of a Time is a reflection of the past and the future. In this show, we present more than 40 artists we have worked with over the years and will work with in the future. For anyone who has been to Method, the show will conjure up feelings of reminiscence while also evoking something new. Each artist was asked to use the word “Portrait” as a starting point for the work they created specifically for this show. As each artist has their own distinctive style and interpretation, the works vary drastically. Method suggested artists keep the artworks in line with the most famous portrait of all: Mona Lisa.

The Future Will Remember explores the construction of memory in times of tragedy, challenging the increasingly digital nature of our justice landscapes with documentation in sculptural artifacts for future ancestors. A disruption to epistimicide, an entombment of truths, millienium objects for an archive of struggle. In the language of archaeology it attempts to document aspects of current conflict to confront systems that withhold accountability or representation where history is recorded, erasure is attempted, and distortion is perpetrated.

'Where India Dries My Clothes' is an intimate visual exploration born from a decade-long observation during my extensive travels across India. What began as an exercise that was simply visually interesting has evolved into a unique reflection on the intricate lives and landscapes that define this diverse nation. ​​
