Age 8 by Mohd. Intiyaz
An original painting by Mohd. Intiyaz.
This mural addresses the difficulties involved in the activity of fetching adequate water. When I as 8 year old me and my family were renting a place in Delhi. At that time we didn’t have water supply connection. We used to get our necessary water from municipal water tank. The people in the queues were desperate and vicious, because water is limited and people, endless. I remember an incident where I was in queue with my bucket, and a woman threw my bucket away just because I was a renter.
