CURRENT EXHIBITION(s) //

BAMBAI SE AAYA MERA DOST
For the second exhibition at the newly opened Method in New Delhi, we intend to bring the pulse of Mumbai’s art scene to the capital, not as a singular voice but as a collective force. To mark this new chapter, we’ve curating a show titled Bambai Se Aaya Mera Dost —a celebration of friendship, community, and creative exchange. Inspired by the iconic song, this exhibition will bring together some of Mumbai’s most exciting galleries to present select works from their artists in our new Delhi space.
Each participating gallery will present artists they champion, unified by a shared commitment to shaping the future of contemporary art. Art is not nurtured in isolation—it thrives in dialogue, in exchange, and in the strength of community. With this exhibition, we celebrate the camaraderie that has defined Mumbai’s art landscape, showcasing the bonds that transcend competition and instead foster collective growth. Together, we will present a united front, demonstrating that galleries, when working in harmony, can push boundaries and elevate the industry as a whole. This exhibition is more than a showcase of artistic talent; it is a statement of solidarity—a tribute to the spirit of Mumbai and the belief that collaboration is the foundation upon which the future of art is built.

AFTER SILENCE BY HARSHH KUMAR
After Silence is a meditation on presence, intuition, and the quiet force of emotion. Drawing from shifting geographies, both internal and external, the works in this exhibition trace a path through memory, movement, and the natural world. Inspired by the textures of landscape and the rhythm of lived experience, the artist offers a language of abstraction that resists order and embraces the uncertain.

UPCOMING ART FAIR //

ARCO LISBOA
Method is thrilled to announce its debut at ARCO Lisboa, marking our first participation in an international art fair. We are proud to present the works of three powerful voices from the South Asian contemporary art scene—Ammama Malik, Shivangi Kalra, and Sajid Wajid Shaikh. Each artist brings a distinct visual language that navigates memory, identity, and the poetic tension between the real and the imagined.
Ammama Malik's layered works echo personal and political histories through material gestures; Shivangi Kalra’s intimate oil paintings translate fleeting emotional states into atmospheric landscapes; and Sajid Wajid Shaikh’s surreal compositions blur the boundaries between digital and physical realms. Together, they offer a compelling glimpse into the multiplicity of South Asian contemporary practice, rooted in place yet in dialogue with the world.

RECENT EXHIBITION(s) //

NATURE OF US
A group exhibition that explores the intricate and often paradoxical relationship between humans and the world we inhabit. Divided into two key thematic parts, the exhibition delves into the ways in which our interactions with nature—both the environment around us and the behavioral patterns we establish within our lives—reflect our deeper understanding of self, community, and the world at large.

YOU'RE GROWING ON ME BY SHIVANGI KALRA
In You're Growing On Me, Shivangi Kalra presents a deeply personal yet universally resonant exploration of memory, architecture, and social dynamics. Through intricate oil paintings, she reconstructs the interiors of a bygone Delhi—one where grand homes and lavish gatherings masked the silent struggles of those within. Her works unravel the nostalgia of an opulent past while questioning the hierarchies and unspoken tensions embedded in these domestic spaces. Voices emerge through texture, color, and detail—some hushed, some demanding to be heard. As the city grows and transforms, so do its stories. What lingers? What fades? And what, despite it all, refuses to let go?
